to explain the new background!

When Jaycie was born, her Uncle Craig gave her the nickname "Jelly Bean." We thought that was so appropriate since Jaycie was named after our Grandma Bernice, whose nickname has always been "Beanie." Jaycie's nickname has since been shorten to Bean or Beaner... a name that sometimes get funny looks from strangers... but we love it anyway!!!

Jaycie just received a new shipment of hair bows from Miss Laura! They are so adorable... and very well made! If any of you have daughters, nieces, friends, etc. you must hit up Laura for some!

A Hat and a Box!

We found this hat in one of the clothes bins we got from cousins Vera and Ella! The hat combined with an old shelf from Grandma's preschool made the perfect photo opp!
