31 Weeks!

Hi Everyone!

Well... we're 31 weeks pregnant today! With only 63 days left until our due date, Baby Bushman's arrival seems closer than ever. Jason and I are definitely getting anxious!

After an exhausting two days up in Canton, Ohio for the Ohio high school diving championships, Jason and I went to our 31 week doctor's appointment. The doc said Baby Bushman is looking good. The head is still pointed down and the heartbeat is still strong. I gained 2 more pounds bringing me to a 22 lb total so far! Besides numbness in my hands in the mornings, I'm feeling good.

Jason and I had a nice baby name conversation over dinner tonight... I feel like we're making headway on coming to a final decision! Here is a picture Jason took before we left for dinner!

We have a crib!

Our crib arrived this weekend! Here are some pictures of Jason and Uncle Chris putting it together. I must say they did a great job!

Once the crib was together Aunt Lori and I added the finishing touches... the bumper and mobile. We don't have a mattress pad or sheets yet, but I think you can still get the idea!

30 Weeks!

Quick Update

Jason and I went to our childbirth class this weekend. It was fun... and VERY informative! I'm glad we did it. Unfortunately there really wasn't a chance to take pictures... and no sympathy belly like my cousin Nadia's husband had to wear... lucky Jason!

Tonight is our hospital tour... pending the snow storm they are predicting!

29 Week Update

We're FINALLY back from our appointment! It was a long one today. I had several things done.... a couple shots, the glucose test for diabetes, and then my regular check up. Thankfully all went well. I tested negative for gestational diabetes and the baby's heartbeat sounded good. Based on the speed of the heartbeat, Dr. Egner guessed a boy today. All three doctors have submitted their guesses... and as it stands its 2 for boy, 1 for girl. Only 79 more days to find out who's right!

Upcoming Events:

This Saturday Jason and I have our child birth class! I'll post an update afterwards... I'm hoping we have a lot of fun! Can't wait to see Jason in action!

Monday, February 12th Jason and I go for a tour of Good Sam Hospital. They encourage all first time parents to do this so you are less likely to panic come the big day!

The Nursery

It's still a work in progress, but I've had some requests to post pictures of our nursery. Jason plans on making a window seat in the dormer, and we obviously still need to buy a crib, but after that we'll just have some odds and ends to finish up.

The "theme" originated from these two prints. I fell in love with them about a year ago... needless to say they are currently hanging on the walls in the nursery.
