Jaycie has been doing really well since we have been home with Josie. While she has acted out a bit to get Mommy and Daddy's attention, she has been very loving to her sister. "The Baby" is the first thing she asked for every morning. Here are some pictures from their first week together.

Just received a call this morning that the hospital

has some openings for inductions tomorrow!

We are scheduled to be there at 7:00 am!

Baby J Bushman #2 will be here soon!

We're Ready!

Jaycie has been testing out all of her old baby toys... you know, to make sure they are safe for her new little sib!?!? She gave the thumbs up to...

Jaycie found the two "Coming Home" outfits we have set out. When I asked her which one we will need... blue or pink, she looked at me puzzled and said "I don't know?" It was hilarious!
BABY UPDATE

Yesterday at my doctor's appt I was still only 2 cm dilated. AND, unlike the doctor I saw last week, this doctor did not want to schedule an induction. She said the hospital is booked up next week with inductions, so I will be better off just going on my own time! Maybe this baby will follow in Jaycie's footsteps and come two days after the due date! I"ll keep you posted!!!

Looks like I'm not going to follow family tradition and deliver on my birthday...maybe tomorrow we'll bring some more exciting news?!?! Thanks everyone for your birthday wishes!

Random

Here's a lovely picture Jason took of me last night. I was thinking I might go into labor overnight... I just had so much pressure down there!!! But... I was wrong! The baby is still hanging out!

The Dining Room

Jaycie's favorite place right now is in the dining room... more specifically under the dining room table. The table has a shelf underneath it that Jaycie just loves to play on. She brings her snacks there, sings while laying there, and even goes there to be alone to go poo-poo!
The other day I went looking for Jaycie and found this... apparently each chair had a bar code sticker underneath it that Jaycie collected! I think she played with these stickers for an hour! As you can see, she found several places for them!
